I had c section scar tissue massage on my scar with Julie 13 weeks PP. it was relaxing and not painful at all. Julie was lovely and I was amazed at the difference in my scar after just an hours treatment. Afterwards she emailed me techniques she used which my scar responded well to so that I can do them on myself. She was really knowledgeable and I felt comfortable the whole way through.
I have been going to Julie’s Heavy class for over 4 months now and absolutely love it! She is so knowledgeable, plans activities that are challenging but not impossible and my confidence has definitely increased because of the post-class buzz!
I am the poster girl for hating exercise, but signed up to Julie’s Core and Restore class a couple of months after giving birth…in 6 weeks I lost lots of inches and kgs, and feel incredibly strong in my core and pelvic floor. Now moved onto the Heat class, which is as it sounds! Julie explains well, helps us out with food ideas and most importantly to me, patient when i need something explaining for the thousandth time! A great positive person to be around at this time of my life with a 7 month old depriving me of sleep!
I feel stronger and leaner. After 3 children my pelvic floor is stronger and has had some much needed strengthening!
I took my young daughter to see Julie for some scar massage and advice. She was absolutely spot on with her expert advice and taught us both techniques for treating the scars. After the session it was amazing to see how much better the scars looked already. A few months on and we can now see how much positive progress has been made by following Julie’s advice. It is also worth noting how sensitive Julie was to the age of my child and how kindly and realistically she spoke about the trauma she’d had – Julie a real gentle and knowledgeable soul and gave us much much better post-care advice than what we had from the consultant at hospital. I strongly recommend!
I had been looking to lose weight for some time but with my wedding fast approaching I contacted Julie to see if she could help me. I had not been doing exercise for a few years before starting and was really nervous but Julie has been incredible! I have been having a weekly PT session and group session since January and have lost a lot of weight. I’m really proud of myself but I could never have done it without Julie’s help and support. Not only has she been a great trainer, helping me to work towards my goals, she’s become an amazing friend who is willing to do anything to help me. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
Every woman who has had a baby needs Julie in their lives !! Despite being very active and quite fit during last pregnancy my abs were not so happy nor was my pelvic floor especially after three sections! Julie was just what I needed and after a 6 week programme so much has changed in my life ( for the better ) … who else can say they went trampolining after 4m with NO leaks ! I also had the c-section scar massage which was amazing and so helpful for me to reconnect with how my babies had to arrive in the world.

Julie is amazing at what she does she has totally transformed my life after having a my daughter. After loosing nearly 3 stone I now have such a positive outlook on health and fitness and strong body confidence, which is something I never thought I would achieve after having a baby.

I went to Julie with a sensitive, hard & lumpy, pulling C-section scar. Julie gave me a complete top to toe once over (perhaps what our doctors should do at a 6week post natal check) she checked my breathing & my diastasis recti.
Julie used soothing moogwax during my massage, which smells and feels absolutely amazing. Using gentle touch, movements & her special massage tool Julie was able to ease my angry scar to a happy more settle scar that didn’t pull or drag during exercising or playing with my Son. I also felt some more sensation and feeling come back around and on my scar which I hadn’t felt since having my son in May 2018.
I can honestly say my breathing was better (I was able to take a deep full breath) and my ‘mummy shelf’ as I called it felt soo much better and easier when moving around etc and I’ve noticed such a difference with how much my C-section swelling has reduced since having the massage with Julie. I will definitely be visiting Julie again for another session.
Following x2 operations on my cervix I was told I needed to strengthen my pelvic floor or face possible complications during pregnancy. I went through a few Personal Trainers who didn’t have the correct experience before I found Julie. She is professional, knowledgeable and makes you feel completely at ease. Her classes are fun, varied and thorough and I always look forward to them. After 6 weeks I can already feel a difference and have signed up for more without hesitation. Thanks Jules!
I’ve been working with Julie for a while now and can really see an improvement in my core strength and strength in general. Her classes are always fun and she always comes up with alternative moves if you are not feeling great or you’ve damaged something. She keeps us posted on healthy foods and recipies and always goes the extra mile for everyone.

Really enjoying Julie’s Core Restore Heavy classes. I’d been finding it difficult trying to fit exercise in with two small children and working, but I’m so glad I contacted her. Even if I’m really tired and feel like I’d rather stay at home, once I’ve been I feel so energised and happier in my mood. It’s hard work but in a good, safe way and she’s always on hand to offer help and advice. All the ladies in the class are really friendly and encouraging, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
I had a series of PT sessions with Julie after the birth of my daughter , that came with various complications. Julie listened to me and my body… she cared and was knowledgeable about when to push and when to change tact. She was great!
Best of all she kept me laughing throughout and knew when I needed a kick up the backside to push myself harder!!
She got me back on track , physically recovered and enjoying exercise again. Only stopped as I moved from the area but I couldn’t recommend her more!
I had an absolutely brilliant pregnancy massage with Julie. I was hoping to feel a little less tight in certain areas (upper/lower back & calves) but left with so much more. Julie is an expert in customising her treatments to your needs, and as well as feeling pampered I learned so much about what my body is going through. Even some takeaway stretches and exercises for the last trimester & postnatal. Felt wonderful afterwards, can’t recommend enough!
Happy Body Project is by far the best thing I have done for my post natal journey! Both physically and mentally, it has been amazing. The mum and baby classes are fantastic; tailored specifically to post natal recovery so all exercises are safe, plus your baby is with you and “socialising” with other babies too! There is no worry about having to tend to your baby during class, or that they’re going to cry and put others off, we’re all in the same boat!
I have also had a c-section massage with Julie which was again fantastic, I noticed results immediately and was shown techniques to carry on with at home. I will definitely be rebooking!
Julie is an excellent personal trainer, her focus on gentle postnatal recovery is brilliant and made me realise I needed to give myself a break and slowly improve my core strength. I am a year postnatal now and I feel fitter and more confident than ever, her classes provide an excellent workout and are great fun. Julie is extremely knowledgable and her advice on diet and exercise is clear and easy to follow. In the first stages of postnatal recovery her “HEAT” class allows you to reconnect with yourself with a small group of ladies going through the same thing, she provides a safe space to ask questions and it is reassuring to know that most people have gone through similar things. I look forward to Julie’s classes every week and they are a great mood enhancer. I never fail to leave Barre class with a smile on my face!
I was apprehensive when we had to resort to online programs due to Covid as I thought we’d lose the personal touch but again Julie has been brilliant! Julie has adapted the classes so we can use whatever equipment we have at home & kept us smiling throughout. Thank you Julie x
Tailored exercise for post natal Mummies has been an absolute dream for me. I kept fit throughout my pregnancy and was really keen to get back in to fitness, but knew I needed to take care of my body. Julie is knowledgeable, kind and a pleasure to be around, and I’ve loved her classes. I really think all new mums should seriously consider these classes as I found the energy and endorphins to be a tonic for the sleepless nights!
Julie’s classes are fabulous. Her knowledge and professionalism are second to none. I’ve always been a bit rubbish with diet and exercise but Julie’s post natal classes helped me no end after my son was born and helped me get in to the best condition I have ever been in. Highly recommended!!
Julie has worked her magic on my C section scar. I went last week for a massage on the scar and surrounding area. We spent a lot of time doing some release work and the transformation is fantastic. I can’t fault the service at all. Julie is welcoming and friendly and takes her time to listen and understands the impact a scar can have on your mental health. Would highly recommend.
